PRACTICE FOCUS
Anthony Balice concentrates his practice in the area of insurance coverage and commercial litigation. He regularly represents insurance companies in insurance disputes involving the availability of insurance coverage under professional liability policies, commercial general liability policies, employers’ liability policies and healthcare professional liability policies. He has defended insurance companies in state and federal court in Illinois, Wisconsin, Florida, New York, Georgia, Hawaii and Idaho.  Anthony also has experience in commercial litigation, class action litigation, and contract disputes.   Additionally, he has participated in complex multi-party mediations involving the availability of employers’ liability coverage for damages in qui tam lawsuits and the availability of insurance coverage for latent defects in the construction of building projects.  In addition to his practice, Anthony is fluent in Italian and has represented Italian companies in trademark and commercial disputes.   

While in law school, Anthony clerked for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Northern District of Illinois and the Cook County State’s Attorney Office, Complex Litigation Division.
