PRACTICE FOCUS

Joe Welch concentrates his practice on complex litigation, settlement disputes, transactions, and corporate law matters regularly advising clients on various corporate aspects. Prior to joining Emerson & Elder, P.C., Joe worked for the Family Express Corporation as part of their corporate counsel focusing on land use, regulatory compliance, transactions, and overall corporate governance. Joe was also a volunteer mediator for the Honorable Katherine Forbes in family law matters and clerked for the Honorable Diane Kavadias-Schneider handling civil matters.

In law school, Joe clerked for the private practice, Armstrong Law Offices, which focused on corporate law catering to small and medium size businesses. Joe also performed externships for the Honorable Julia Jent focusing on criminal and small claims matters, the Hoosier Environmental Council focusing on environmental law, and the Hammond Legal Aid Clinic providing legal services to indigent individuals.
